  • Year 1’s Amazing Visit from Bugs N Stuff! 🐞🕷️

    Year 1 had an absolutely brilliant time during their visit from Bugs N Stuff! 🐛 Guy, our expert bug guide, taught us so many fascinating facts about all kinds of minibeasts. We learned about their habitats, what they eat, and some surprising secrets about their tiny lives. 🐜🌿 The best part? We even got to hold some of the bugs ourselves! 🦗🐍 Everyone was super brave — in fact, the children were much braver than the adults in the room! 😄👏 We all behaved really sensibly and made sure to handle our new little friends gently. 🤗

  • Reception Superhero Assembly

    Reception Superhero Assembly 🌟 Today, Reception wowed us all with their fantastic Superhero Assembly! The children worked incredibly hard on their amazing pictures and put in so much effort to learn their words and songs. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork really shone through — we are so proud of them all!

  • Y6 Newbry Wiske hall Residential

    What an adventure! 🎉 Year 6 have had an amazing week away at Newbry Wiske Hall on their residential! From bouncing around on the water inflatable to battling it out in archery tag and soaring down the zip wire – they’ve done it all! Every single child threw themselves into the fun and had a fantastic time. 🏹💦🌲 The children gained so many new experiences—building confidence on the zip wire, learning teamwork during archery tag, and trying out exciting challenges like the water inflatable. It’s been a week full of memories they’ll never forget! The children showed fantastic behavior throughout the week—kind, respectful, and full of enthusiasm! They were a credit to themselves and the school, making the whole experience even more enjoyable for everyone. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff who made this trip possible! Your energy, care, and support helped make the week unforgettable for every child. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌✨

  • Reception At Hall Hill Farm

    Reception had a fantastic time at Hall Hill Farm yesterday. They enjoyed the tractor ride, fed sheep and goats and held some cute chicks and guinea pigs! We all had such fun and had a lovely little snooze on the way back to school!

  • Ice cream van visit for Y6

    Well done to our Year 6 class! All of our Year 6 pupils completed their SATs last week, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and determination. As a special treat, we had a visit from the ice cream man! The children were thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed their well-earned ice creams in the sunshine. A lovely way to celebrate their efforts!

  • Y5 and Y6 boys Football at the Pokémon Small Schools Finals

    Our Y5 and Y6 Boys football team travelled to Stoke City's Ground on Friday to take part in the Pokémon Small Schools Finals. They came third in the group after three very well played draws. We are very proud of all the Boys for making it all the way to the finals and for representing the School in an excellent opportunity for them.

  • Science in Year 1

    Year 1 have been planning their own seeds as part of their science lessons. We are going to be tending to our plants over the next few weeks to see if they grow. Ask you child what their plant needs to grow.

  • Rosary Club - Pope Francis

    Rosary Club came together on Monday to pray the Rosary in memory of Pope Francis. The children set up their sacred space with care and led prayers beautifully.

  • Holy Week Celebrations of the Word

    During the last week of term, each of our house groups took a turn to lead a whole-school celebration of the Word, focused on a particular part of the events of Holy Week. Each group worked together to create a large piece of art linked to the event that their worship was focused on and this art was displayed while the children lead us in readings, prayers and hymns. Everyone took part in a prayerful and reflective way, which was wonderful to see.
