Climate Change Exhibition
Over the past few weeks, we have had the opportunity to host a climate change exhibition in school. The exhibition features nine 3D models of the planet and 11 information boards, which provide additional details about the issues facing our world. This exhibition has allowed children to reflect on the challenges our planet is facing and consider what actions can be taken to address them.
During their geography lessons, children have been visiting the exhibition and creating work inspired by what they have learned.
Mike from Hexham Council has kindly offered his time on Wednesday 18th March to speak with parents about the exhibition and the important messages it shares. Mike will also be able to provide guidance and advice for parents who are interested in reducing their energy bills, including information about solar panels, air source heat pumps, home batteries and electric cars.
It would be great if you could attend. As this is the same day as Parents’ Evening, parents are welcome to pop into the exhibition while waiting for their appointment slot.
