Cracking the Case of the Mystery Animal!

In English today, our lesson began with a mysterious letter from a scientist asking for our help to investigate an unknown creature!

We explored the school grounds, searching for clues and discovering footprints and signs of where the animal might live. Back in class, we shared ideas about its appearance, habitat and behaviour. This was the beginning of building the structure of a non-chronological report.

A brilliant start to our new writing unit, full of curiosity and teamwork!
