🌍 Whole School Earth Day Celebration 🌱

This week, our whole school came together to celebrate Earth Day with a meaningful and reflective session focused on caring for our planet.

We began by practising a selection of hymns linked to themes of nature, creation, and looking after the world around us. It was wonderful to hear voices from across the school joining together in song, as pupils reflected on the messages and how they relate to our responsibility to protect the Earth.

Following this, children worked in their classes to explore practical ways we can all help care for our environment. Through discussion and group activities, pupils shared thoughtful and creative ideas such as reducing waste, recycling, saving energy, and protecting wildlife.

Our Early Years children have also been exploring this theme throughout the week within their provision. They have been fully engaged in activities linked to caring for the Earth, showing curiosity and enthusiasm as they learn about the world around them.

It was fantastic to see pupils of all ages showing such enthusiasm and awareness. They demonstrated a clear understanding that even small actions can make a big difference in protecting our world.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, care, and responsibility shown by all pupils as they considered how they can help look after our planet, both now and in the future. 🌎💚
