Electricity

Year 6 are continuing to enjoy their Electricity topic in Science.  It has been wonderful to see everyone working well in groups to build circuits, test to see how changing components affects them and identifying faults when things don't quite work as planned.  Lots of children's practical skills have really shone in this unit and it was great to see some pupils challenging themselves to build parallel circuits that they could compare to their original series circuits. Some children even took their equipment to Mrs Yeoman's office where they set up a parallel circuit with 6 bulbs to show what they had been learning.  We certainly have some bright sparks here in Year 6!
