RE in Reception

We have come to the end of our RE topic learning all about myself. 

We drew pictures of ourselves and wrote our names in our topic books. 

We talked about our first name and our family names. We looked at them together, said them out loud then cut them up. Then we had to match our first name and last name.

We celebrated our learning with a class liturgy.

Learning about yourself—your name, your identity, and how to express it through art and writing—is such an important and fun journey, especially at the start of the school year.
