Rocking Our Science Lesson!

In science, we explored the three main types of rocks: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. We made igneous rock by melting chocolate and letting it cool, showing how magma or lava hardens. We created sedimentary rock by crushing biscuits and layering them to represent sediment building up over time. Finally, we made metamorphic rock by combining the two, showing how heat and pressure change rocks. By the end of the lesson, we felt confident explaining how each type of rock forms, and we even got to eat the rocks at the end!
