The children in year 4 have been exploring complementary colours and how artists use them to create contrast and make their work stand out.
The pupils began by learning what complementary colours are and how they sit opposite each other on the colour wheel.
By using these colours, the children were able to add depth, balance and visual impact to their still life artwork.
