English Café - Year 5

Year 5 would like to thank parents and carers for coming to their English café. Mrs Laverick welcomed parents in the hall and discussed English in Year 5. She then took them to the classroom, where she taught the children four new words that they had picked from Daedalus and Icarus. These words were: ferociously, obnoxious, distraught and perilously. Children then wrote an antonym, a synonym, drew a picture and wrote a sentence for these words.  We loved having you all in and would like to thank you for all your support.
