Writing in Year 2

This week in Year 2, we have been continuing to write our very own stories inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk.

We started by reading the traditional tale together and talking about the characters, the magical beanstalk, and the giant’s castle in the clouds. Then we asked ourselves: What if the story happened differently?

We thought of new characters, different ways to get to the magical land in the clouds and different items for our character to take back to his Mum.

Next week we will complete our stories. We cannot wait to share them with you—each one will be unique, creative, and full of imagination.
